You know it’s been a while since you updated your blog when WordPress have completely changed the interface! I would like to say I’ve been busy completing the only two compulsory pieces of work I have to do this year, but that would be a huge lie.
I have, however, been to Barcelona and visited the Cote d’Azur; just missing the Film Festival in Cannes and arriving just before the Grand Prix in Monaco. I also quit my job and absorbed an unhealthy amount of sun.
Now, I’m faced with the task of completing a 2,500 word essay in 3 days, which will inevitably end up with me joining together 5 A-Level essays and submitting it unreferenced. So of course it’s a good time it update my blog.
Whilst galavanting round Europe I’m becoming all too aware that my time in France is coming to an end. In 20 days I’ll say goodbye to all the steak and sunshine and return to Northern Ireland to work full-time for the summer. Having already said my goodbyes to a lot of friends who have already left Toulouse, I know I’ll miss the easy life I’ve become accustomed to here.
